1841 entire letter addressed to Bristol written at Malta dated 28 December 1840 and evidently passed to the Ships Doctor who posted it on arrival in England (presumably Falmouth), franked by 1d black Plate XI (JK) in characteristic greyish shade, four good margins, tied by crisp black MC, backstamped by Frome d/s for FE 21 and Bristol arrival dated FE22, typical archival folds, an attractive and rare item.
