1900-06 Collection on the original Exhibition pages (25) ex Brian Trotter comprising 1900 Overprints on 'Cape Standing'  Revenues (3) plus 1s purple-brown, 'V.R.I' overprints including varieties, shifts etc. A remarkable group of FIVE documents showing combination usage of Cape Standing and V.R.I. issues, ink recipes (6) for the 1906 issue bearing Dummy Stamps of the issued colours, used values to £10, (including 2s6d head inverted), usages on various documents and pieces. A beautifully written up lot with impeccable provenance.
