Extensive and impressive collection of Great Britain and Ireland (pre-independence) revenues all overprinted 'SPECIMEN' or cancelled, showing a wide variety of types. well over 500 different issues, mostly presented in part or full sets, neatly arranged on stock sheets in a ring-binder. Offered completely intact and with the vast majority of the best set and singles present including Matrimonial Cause, Estate Duty, Board of Agriculture, Admiralty Court, Land Commission, the most complete group we have seen of Bankruptcy issues, (including the 1897 surcharged set!), various unappropriated die proofs in various states and also a few good Ireland issues including Registration of Title (opt Cancelled). A superb opportunity with many highly desirable sets and singles included, many of which retail over £50 per stamp!
