A partially complete set of 1st Edition Gym Challenge, featuring all 95 of the 132 cards from the Gym Challenge expansion, released in 2000. The set is a follow-up to Gym Heroes, expanding the focus on the Gym Leaders from the original Pokémon games. Gym Challenge introduced more iconic trainer cards and powerful Pokémon like Giovanni’s Machamp, Koga’s Ditto, and Misty’s Gyarados, making it a highly sought-after collection.
Condition Breakdown:
The vast majority of the cards in this set or near mint or better set, meaning they have been well-maintained with little to no visible wear. The cards retain their sharp corners, vibrant colors, and clear, well-centered printing. There are no significant creases, bends, or scratches, and any imperfections, if present, are extremely minor and hard to detect upon casual inspection.
The only cards that could be considered Very Light Play are the Koga's Ditto and Musty's Gyarados.
