1941 2½d Easter Rising Volunteer used with Limerick CDS 27 X 41 (First Day) sent to Florida, censor tape applied on arrival. Printed design with portrait of Padraig Pearse, with the date 12 APR 1941 below altered in manuscript to 27th October. Evidently a complimentary offering from a Limerick stamp dealer named Alf McGann, since it contains a card with Christmas wishes and his contact details. Neatly opened at left side. SG 128
