But Tony is of course already near death! Regardless, the remote-controlled Iron Man goes into action when the Masters of Silence bust into the manufacturing lab! However the vengeful trio crush the "empty" suit! And that forces Tony to his backup plan! And what a plan it is: the War Machine armor! First appearance of the Masters of Silence. Cameo appearances by Jim Rhodes, Justin Hammer, Dr. Erica Sondheim, Abe Zimmer, and Mrs. Arbogast. (Notes: Tony Stark dons the War Machine armor on the last page.
