“Wounded 4 Times” A Western Front Rifle Brigade Trio awarded to Corporal Henry Thorney Wooster, 7th Battalion Rifle Brigade, comprising 1914-15 Star, (S-6222 Pte H.T. Wooster. Rif: Brig:), 1914-1920 British War and Victory Medals, (S-6222 Cpl. H.T. Wooster. Rif Brig.), toned, very fine.(3).

‘Wooster, H.T. Corporal, Rifle Brigade.
He volunteered in October 1914 and the following year was drafted to France. There he fought in numerous engagements on all sectors of the front, including the Retreat and Advance of 1918, and was wounded four times. After cessation of hostilities, he proceeded to Germany with the Army of Occupation, and in March 1919, returned to England to be demobilised. He holds the 1914‑15 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals.

His Medal Index Card confirms the award of the 1914‑15 Trio and that he landed in France on the 20th of May 1915. He was Demobilised to Class Z on the 4th of April 1919.
