Group of four pieces from Sarikei to Sibu, variously bearing Japan 2s and 4s stamps or Brunei 1942-44 8c red (= SG J10), tied by fine to very fine strikes of Sarikei type JD3 ‘Japanese’ cds; a fine and interesting range, clearly showing different types of cancel, most noticeably in the size of the stars at the sides. Also Japan 10s (2 + 4) showing two part strikes of the same cancel.
