1886 GB Used Abroad. Very fine naval bag cover sent by Captain J W Brackenbury of HMS Hyacinth stationed at Coquimbo, Chile and addressed to his wife Mrs Brackenbury, Newbury, Berkshire, England. Bearing a 4d dull green (SG 192) cancelled upon arrival in England by London transit cds's for SP.12.1886. Backstamped by a Newbury arrival cds for the following day. A few peripheral faults as is the nature of these very delicate envelopes, nevertheless an attractive GB Used Abroad Franking. Offered with an additional photocopy of the matching outgoing cover sent to Capt. Brackenbury, HMS Hyacinth, Coquimbo, Chile via Lisbon dated August 13th 1886.
