1885 Overseas mail. Fine cover to Lifu, Loyalty Islands, prepaid by a 4d Dull green cancelled by a Walsall "834" duplex for JY.13.1885. Backstamped in Paris for JY.15&16.1885. Some peripheral soiling but a scarce destination item, Lifu is the principal island of the Loyalty Islands archipeligo sitting just to the east of the French territory of New Caledonia, N.E. of Australia.
