1896 (15 Aug) "2½" on 2a pale blue, type 6 surcharge in red, showing "Zanzibar" with variety "No dot over i" (and small second "z"), fresh o.g. Two different variants of this variety occurred on each pane (opt setting 3, R2/3 and 2/5), with this example from R2/5. Trivial corner bend but only 32 panes surcharged, and most were used.
