Official. 1930-47 "Set 6" (= 1931 issue) 1d "grey-black and carmine-rose" roto, SUIDAFRIKA one word, wmk inverted, SG  type O2 opt (12½mm space), horizontal pair showing spectacular MISPLACED OPT (sideways to left, leaving the two words close together and transposed at right), neatly cancelled by central Johannesburg cds dated "16 VI 47". Plated as R4/1-2 from sheet no.4071, the right stamp with diagnostic opt flaw (dot in "O" of OFFISIEEL, misplaced from R4/3 !). A rare pair. Ex Matheson. [Union Handbook O21 V9]
