1898 (22 Mar) incoming complete German 10pf carmine reply card, addressed to the "British Post Office, Gibraltar, via London" with a message regarding the length of time to send and receive mail, used from Goerlitz with fine despatch (22.3) and arrival (MR 28) cds on face. The reply half with fine "GIBRALTAR / A26" duplex (MR 28) and "GOERLITZ" delivery (2.4) cds, and a message from the Postmistress, "This card was delivered in Gibraltar at 8 a.m on the 28th March 1898. The mail reached the office shortly before midnight on the 27th.". A fine and very interesting usage.
