1871 (DE 17) entire letter from Gibraltar to New York, franked at 8d by Great Britain 1865-73 4d vermilion, plate 12, horizontal pair, tied by two fine strikes of type Z4 duplex. The face with red London transit (22 DE) and New York arrival (JAN 12) cancels, with "2 / CENTS" accountancy mark alongside. Light filing fold still very fine and attractive.
