1942 Landfall 1s grey-black and bright crimson, ordinary paper, block of 18 (6x3) being the the bottom three rows of a left pane, unmounted o.g.  A fine and interesting large multiple, showing plate varieties on R9/4 (frame break below 'AH' of 'BAHAMAS') and R10/1 (broken lower left corner (State 2a, rounded with jagged projection)) as well as myriad overprint flaws. Scarce.
