Postage Dues. 1944 ½d green on rough paper. Irregular block of ten, comprising R9/1-2, 5-6 and R10. The stamps with full gum , CTO'd at LOTLHAKANE 9 MR 53.  There are villages of this name in both Botswana and South Africa and unfortunately this CDS is from the South African one, which lies just south of Mafeking (Mafikeng). Shows notch in '1' on R9/1 and damage to 'prow' of '2' on R10/1. SG D4
