Original Framed Artwork of 2000 AD Sláine by Dom Reardon, dated 1997.
A original signed artwork of Sláine from 2000AD, by comic artist Dom Reardon. Signed ‘Dom!’ and dated 1997. Mounted within a red frame with a black border. Sláine is a hero with the 2000 AD universe. A Barbarian fatasy character based on Celtic myths and stories. First published in 1983 and created by Pat Mills and Angela Kincaid.
Provenance: After an auction at WOTC, the vendor went to a bar and was introduced to two artist; Jock and Dom Reardon. They immediately hit it off, after a few a beers the artists brought out large folders of original artwork. The vendor purchased 5 artworks, including this Sláine artwork and the Jock Judge Anderson Psi- also in this sale. Framed with a red border to stand out against wall.
Measurements: Frame: W:43cm, H:51cm, D:1.5cm.
