Postal Fiscal. 1882-86 £5 green, a spectacular irregular bock of 14 (2x6, with a further vertical pair at upper left), the middle stamp in the top row showing the remarkable plate variety 'VRY-STAAT' (with hyphen) which is believed to occur only once on the two-pane sheet of 120, at R1/5 on one pane, fiscally used with M/S cancels (initials + '649' on each stamp in the block of 12, with a fuller version on the additional pair). Some normals with unobtrusive faults, but fresh colour, with the variety fine. Almost certainly a unique se-tenant multiple. Ex Allison. SG F15a
