Stratford‑on‑Avon, General circulation Halfpenny 1790, Draped bust of Shakespeare left, rev. Commerce seated left, edge diagonally milled, 27.5mm/9.87gm. (DH 327a). Another the same but edge diagonally milled, 29mm/8.98gm. (DH 327d). Another the same but edge plain and rounded, 28mm/7.34gm. (DH 327f). Another mule but rev. Crowned Irish harp and legend ‘NORTH WALES’ and edge PAYABLE AT MACCLESFIELD LIVERPOOL OR CONGLETON .x., 27.75mm/8.56gm. (DH 330). Another the same but edge plain, 28mm/6.53gm. (DH 330a), first three good Extremely Fine, second with almost full lustre, remaining two good Very Fine. DH 330 very rare ‘RR’. [5]
