Coventry, P Kempson’s Series of Coventry Buildings, Silver proof Halfpenny 1797, Drapers’ Hall, rev. Arms and crest of Coventry, edge plain, 28.25mm/13.95gm. (DH 291var), once wiped, otherwise good Extremely Fine, lightly toned with ‘blueish’ and steel grey iridescence, small stains on obv. Extremely rare and apparently an unpublished edge ‘RRR+’.

Ex. F S Cokayne Col., his ticket. Bought 10 Feb 1932 for 10/-. Acquired AHB c. 1946.
