Birmingham, P Kempson’s Series of Birmingham Buildings, Halfpenny undated, View of the St. Paul’s chapel, rev. Arms of Birmingham in circular legend, edge plain, 29mm/12.46gm. (DH 172). Another but obv. St. Philip’s Church, 29mm/11.47gm. (DH 174). Another similar with period on rev. and in brass, 29mm/12.42gm. (DH 175). Another but obv. the Barracks, 29mm/11.57gm. (DH 177). Another but obv. General hospital, 29mm/11.63gm. (DH 181). Another the same but in brass, 29mm/11.97gm. (DH 181). Another dated 1796 but obv. the Library, 29mm/11.72gm. (DH 184a), first brass piece Extremely Fine and yellow toned, second brass good Extremely Fine with remains of original colour. Rest good Extremely Fine with considerable amounts of reflection and original mint lustre, especially DH 172 and 177 which are blazing full lustre. [7]
