Birmingham, George Barker Halfpenny 1797, Crest and arms of the Baker family, rev. Justice standing within an incuse oval, edge very faintly, PAYABLE ON DEMAND, 30mm/13.80gm. (DH 67), as struck, darkly toned with superb iridescence, one small verdigris spot on edge (obv 10 o’ clock). Of the highest rarity ‘RRR’, reportedly only three in existence.
