Brighton, Lutwyche’s Brighton Camp Halfpenny 1794, Bust right of Prince of Wales, rev. Prince of Wales Plumes, edge BRIGHTON CAMP HALFPENNy .x.x.x.x.x., 30mm/10.04gm. (DH 2). Another portrait positioned slightly differently 28.5mm/9.17gm. (DH 3). Another the same but edge BRIGHTON CAMP HALFPENNY MDCCXIV x.x, 29mm/9.23gm. (DH 3a). Another but dated 1795 and no period after obv. legend, 28.5mm/9.45gm. (DH 5), all generally Extremely Fine, all, but DH 3a, with traces of original colour, DH 3 extremely rare ‘RRR’. [4] DH 3a ex Baldwin’s basement Feb 2018; Rest ex F S Cokayne Col., his tickets, DH 2 bought 19 Sep 1895 for 9d.; DH 3 bought 30 Nov 1905 from J Atkins for 5/-. Acquired AHB c. 1946.
