Bath, William Gye (bookseller, printer and stationer) Halfpenny 1794, Arms of Bath, rev. Benevolence instructing the opening of gaols, edge PAYABLE AT W. GYE’S PRINTER BATH X.X, 29.5mm/9.94gm. (DH 32). Another the same but edge PAYABLE BY JAMES TEBAYS HASTINGS, 29.5mm/9.65mm. (DH 32a). Another similar but bends in the coat of arms, 30mm/9.49gm. (DH 33). Another similar but boy has no flowing robe, 29mm/9.95gm. (DH 34). Another the same but edge BRIGHTON CAMP HALFPENNY, 29mm/9.35gm. (DH 34a), all good Extremely Fine, first three proof‑like with much lustre, last two not quite as much lustre and last a little weakly struck, DH 32a and 34a very rare ‘RR’, DH 32 rare ‘R’. [5]
