Norwich, Joshua Bullen & Simon Martin (ironmongers) Halfpenny, Arms of Norwich, rev. shuttle over plough, edge rounded plain, 28mm/8.97gm. (DH 17). Another by same issuers - but obv – a key in an iron archway, 30mm/10.10gm. (DH 19), both good Extremely Fine with much original lustre, second almost proof-like. [2]

Both ex F S Cokayne Col., his tickets – DH 17 bought 1 Oct 1903 ‘from a USA Col’ for 1/-; DH 19 ex Richard Dalton Col bought 14 Dec 1910 for 2/-. Acquired AHB c. 1946.
