Liverpool, Thomas Clarke Halfpenny 1793, similar to above but with oak wreath, rather than laurel, below ship, 28.5mm/11.52gm. (DH 107a). Another but with diagonally milled edge, 29.5mm/10.68gm. (DH 107b), both with die flaw at top of sail on obv., first Extremely Fine or better and toned, second good Extremely Fine with lustre, esp. on obv. [2]

Both Ex. F S Cokayne Col., his tickets – acquired 5 Nov 1903 for 2/- and 2/6. Acquired AHB c. 1946.
