Description
Portsea, George Sargeant (slop-seller) Halfpenny 1794, warship sailing right in laurel wreath, rev. family arms, edge GEORGE EDWARD SARGEANTS PORTSEA, 29mm/10.55gm. (DH 68). Another, but leaves all single and mast rigging slightly different, 29.5mm/9.72gm. (DH 72). Another, but obv. legend spacing slightly different, 28.5mm/1.17gm. (DH 75). A farthing 1791 struck by Westwood, as the halfpenny but smaller, 24mm/6.26gm. (DH 95), all good Extremely Fine, third with some lustre, second with usual die flaw and scarce, last with traces of lustre and Rare. [4]
