Petersfield, General Circulation Halfpenny 1796, A mounted dragoon, sword drawn, rev. Britannia seated left, edge PAYABLE IN LONDON, rest engrailed, 29mm/9.82gm. (DH51). Another but edge plain 28.9mm/9.69gm. (DH 51b), both good Extremely Fine, proof-like toning with much iridescence, last with darker toning around edge, but Rare. [2]

Second ex F S Cokayne Col., his ticket, bought 13 Jan. 1906 for 5/- from J Atkins. Acquired AHB c. 1946.
