Emsworth, General Circulation error halfpenny. (1795), Larger bust of Admiral Earl Howe left, rev. Britannia seated left, edge PAYABLE IN LONDON, rest engrailed, 29mm/9.82gm. (DH 23b). A brockage with the rev. portrayed twice, once incusely – British warship, edge engrailed, 29mm/9.97gm. (DH 29), First badly miss-truck - not central, about Very Fine and toned, second a brockage and almost Extremely Fine and toned, both very rare as such. [2]

First ex F S Cokayne Col., his ticket, bought 30 Oct. 1931 for 2/-. Acquired AHB c. 1946.
