Macclesfield, Roe & Co. (issued by Westwood for collectors) Farthing 1789. Bees and hive over R&Co cypher, rev. industry seated left holding auger and cogwheel, edge, milled, 24mm/5.76gm. (DH 82). Another the same but edge engrailed, 23.5mm/4.53g. (DH 82a), both good Extremely Fine with some lustre, second a little off centre and planchet cut from edge of plate. First scarce and second rare [2].
