Leeds, Richard Paley (soap-boiler, chandler) Halfpenny 1791, Bishop Blaze holding woolcombe, standing left, a sheep below, rev. Arms of city of Leeds, edge PAYABLE AT THE WAREHOUSE OF RICHARD PALEY, 29.75mm/12.65mm. (DH 44). Another similar but woolcombe in slightly diff. position, 29.5mm/12.64gm. (DH 45). Another similar but position of woolcombe slightly different, 30mm/12.96gm. (DH 46). Another similar but again, woolcombe in slightly different position, 30mm/12.51gm. (DH 47). Another similar but obv. period closer to legend, 30mm/12.55gm. (DH 48), all generally good Extremely Fine, all with a fair amount of original colour apart from DH 46 which is toned.
