Description
The India General Service Medal for Afghanistan in 1919 awarded to Private Arthur Webb, 1st Battalion Highland Light Infantry, Attached 1st Battalion D.L.I., who had previously been wounded in France on the 1st of June 1916 comprising India General Service Medal 1908-35, one clasp, Afghanistan 1919, (3822 Pte. A. Webb. H.L.I.), toned fine (1)
Private Arthur Webb landed in France with the 1st Battalion Highland Light Infantry on the 27th of September 1915, he was wounded on the 1st of June 1916. He served in Afghanistan with the 1st Battalion H.L.I. attached 1st Battalion D.L.I. He was discharged to the Z Reserve on the 24th of October 1919.
