India Medal 1895-1902, QVR, two clasps, Tirah 1897-98, Punjab Frontier awarded to Private Frederick William Green, 2nd Battalion Derbyshire Regiment, (1145 Pte F.W. Green2d Bn. Derby: Reg.) engraved in running script, toned, very fine (1)
Frederick William Green joined the Derbyshire Regiment on the 7th of September 1885 stating that he was born in Canada in the Americas a 20 year old Labourer, he stated that he was currently serving in the 4th Battalion Derby Regiment. He Served in Idia from the 12th of March 1886 to the 21st of March 1898. He was present in the Sikkim Campaign of 1888 and the Tirah Expedition. He was Discharged from the Army on the 31st of March 1890.
He is also entitled to the India General Service Medal 1854-95 with the clasp Sikkim 1888.
