Sadie Huston served in the Territorial Force Nursing Service During 1914 but was discharged an invalid, it would apaer she then joined the French Red Cross, Medal Indec Card refers, she served in France from July 1918 onwards.
Aged 51, she married widower Sir Mervyn Lawrence Tew in 1941 - he was older than she, a Colonial Administrator various – Obituary Oxford College magazine. Newspaper cuttings, Medals in Spink & Son Box, sold with copied Nursing papers.
