C.R. savage. R.A.), Special Constabulary Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, GVIR, one Clasp, Long Service 1955, (Charles R. Savage), very fine (3)
Charles Robert Savage joined the Royal Artillery at Woolwich on the 16th of February 1917 stating that he was an 18 year old Horse Driver from St Pancras, London. He served in France from 24th of June 1917 until the end of Hostilities, he was demobilised on the 3rd of March 1919.
