Carpenter Crew Arthur Charles Munden served aboard H.M.S. Jupiter in the Suez Canal area and aboard H.M.S. Alecto, The Submarine Depot Ship during the Great War his group comprising the 1914-15 Star, (M.13308, A.C. Munden, Car. Cr. R.N.), 1914-1920 British War & Victory Medals (M.13308 A. C. Munden. JR.4 R.N.)
H.G. Munden
Private Henry George Munden arrived at Alexandria, Egypt on the 17th of July 1915 arriving at Anzac Cove, Gallipoli on the 6th of August with the 10th(Service) Battalion Hampshire Regiment, they landed with a Strength of 30 Officers and 897 Other Ranks, by the 31st August they mustered 2 officers and under 200 ranks. Private Munden moved to Mudros with the remnants of the Battalion on the 30th of September, his group comprising 1914-15 Star, (4112 Pte. H.G. Munden. Hamps. R.), 1914-1920 British War Medal (41112 Pte. H. G. Munden. Hamps. R.), both groups lightly toned very fine (5)
Private Munden is also entitled to a Victory Medal and Silver War Badge B151949
