Victoria (1837-1901), Double Florin, 1889, Jubilee issue, Tower mint. Crowned and veiled bust left, J.E.B on truncation for Joseph Edgar Boehm, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, garter star and centre ornamental sceptres in quarters, Arabic 1 in date, reads FID DEF BRITT REG, date fl anking top crown (S.3923; Bull.2701; ESC.398). Few contact marks, otherwise lustrous. Extremely fine.
