George III (1760-1820), Pattern Farthing, 1790, by W J Taylor after J-P Droz, in bronzed copper, laureate head right, rev. BRITAN NIA, Britannia seated left, resting on shield and spear, right arm outstretched, signature and date in exergue, 4.99g, 6h (cf. Pywell-Phillips 458; Peck 1031). About as struck, two very
minor scratches on reverse.
