George II (1727-60), Sixpence, 1731, young laureate and draped bust left, legend surrounding GEORGIVS. II DEI. GRATIA, Rev, crowned cruciform emblematic shields, roses and plumes in angles, reads M.B.F.ET.H.REX.F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T.ET.E garter star at centre, date above (S.3707; Bull.1741; ESC.1607). Very fine.
