Henry VIII (1509-1547), Testoon, third coinage, Tower mint, mintmark lis, beaded linear circles both sides, crowned bearded bust of King facing wearing mantle with collar of fur, Latin legend reads HENRIC VIII DI GRA ANG FRA Z HIB REX. Reverse, crowned h to left and r to right divided by large crowned Tudor rose, legend surrounds POSVI DEVM ADIVTORVM MEVM, 7.00g (N.1841; S.2364). About extremely fine for issue, a distinct and well struck portrait, cabinet toning, pleasing. Edge chip.
