Only two of these patterns were known to exist until this one came to light and only those two ever came to the market. This example has never been sold before. We have previously auctioned the most recent one known in our Auction 108 (November 2022) for £23,000. The other one being in lesser condition, sold in CNG, Triton XIX, lot 2544 (January 2016) for $17,000. This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire this excessively rare Kuwaiti pattern, a coin that was a special gift to the family.
Ex. Private collection, in the family for over 50 years.
