Bare head left, HP raised below for designer Humphrey Paget, legend and outer border surrounding, GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX F: D: IND: IMP. Rev, Saint George slaying the dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue for Benedetto Pistrucci, edges plain. (S. PS15; W&R;: 435, 437, 439, 442). An over all pleasing set. All coins virtually as struck. The £5 a couple of miniscule nicks on edge visible only on close inspection, minimal marks only. The £2 minimal marks only. The sovereign and half sovereign particularly pleasing. No original case. A set that is worthy of viewing (4).
