Description
Victoria (1837-1901), Currency Halfcrown, 1839. Type A4, young head left, WW on truncation, rev. crowned shield, milled edge, (Davies 562; Bull 2711; ‘R4’ ESC 672; S.3887). Choice almost uncirculated. Excessively rare in this high grade and most likely one of the finest known.

Has been graded by NGC as Unc details obverse cleaned. We do not see any evidence of cleaning. The rarest date of the currency halfcrowns of Victoria. This is by far the best example this cataloguer has seen in the last 30 years.
