Description
William IV (1830-37), Proof Halfcrown, 1831, Script WW. Bare head right, Script WW incuse on truncation, rev. inverted die axis, crowned escutcheon of the Arms of Hanover with seven hearts in semee upon quartered more heavily garnished shield, seven strings to Irish harp, surmounted by crowned mantle with Order below, anno to lower left, date to lower right, edge, plain (Bull 2477; ESC 658; S.3834). As struck, lightly toned, some minor hairlines. As struck, lightly toned, some minor hairlines. Graded and encapsulated by NGC as PF62.
