USA, Set of Robert Bashlow Confederate Coinage Restrike Tokens, 1962, an original set of six tokens struck by Robert Bashlow as replicas of Confederate States coinage, contains: the three Confederate Cent restrikes, struck from transfer dies taken from the original dies owned by John Haseltine in the 1800s and also three Confederate Half Dollar replicas made from a copy of the Scott Company Confederate Seal reverse used as the obverse (replicas of KM X1-2). Uncirculated, sealed in original holder. Each type struck in three metallic compositions: bronze, silver and ‘goldine’ (an alloy used by Bashlow to make them look like gold). Extremely rare as a complete set.
