William IV (1830-37), Group sets of Maundy Money; 1831, 1832, 1835, 1836 and 1837 (the 1837 is a partial set omitting the 3d), Fourpence, Threepence, Twopence, Penny, laureate head right, toothed outer borders both sides, legend surrounding GULIELMUS IIII DG BRITANNIAR REX FD. Rev, crowned mark of value, date either side within tied oak wreath (S.3840; Bull.2547-55; ESC.2436-2444). Varied condition and tone, presenting for the most part as good fine to very fine, few pieces as struck. Catalogued as an assemblage, despite having date uniformity they are technically miscellaneous oddments, lacking the congruence of sets. (5 sets, 19 coins).
