Seleucid Empire, Antiochos II Theos (261-246 BC) AR Tetradrachm, mint of Phokaia, 16.93g. Diademed head of Antiochos I facing right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ – ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟY, Herakles, holding club, seated left on rock draped with lion skin, griffin’s head and monogram in outer left field. (SC 511.2; CSE 623 (same dies); HGC 9, 241d). Struck from worn dies. Scuff in reverse field. Good Very Fine.  Ex. CNG Electronic Auction 449 (31/05/2019) lot #207.
