George II (1727-60), Guinea, 1733, second young laureate head left, legend surrounds GEORGIVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms, date flanking crown, legend reads M.B.F.ET.H. REX. F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T ET.E. (S.3674; EGC 591; MCE.309). Rich lustrous gold toning, mirrored around the periphery with shocks of red bloom in places. Portrait with bold definition in the Kings hair, legends legible with much of the outer toothed border pronounced. Rev, strong with pleasing detail, some etching and scratching below either side of the date line, otherwise a good extremely fine.
