Kings of Pontos, Mithradates VI Eupator (c. 120-63 BC) AR Tetradrachm, uncertain mint, dated year 231 (67/6 BC), 16.67g. Diademed head of Mithradates facing right. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ / MIΘPAΔATOY / EYΠATOPOΣ, stag grazing left, flanked by star and crescent (left) and AT (right), AΛΣ (date) below, all within a Dionysiac wreath of ivy and fruit. (De Callatay p. 22, OD77; HGC 7, 340; DCA 692; Waddington 131 (same obverse die)). Extremely Fine. Slight mark to right of portrait. Well‑struck and well‑centred with lustrous iridescence.
