Crowned and robed Queen enthroned, holding orb and sceptre, pillar either side, throne decorated with pellets within cross hatching, portcullis below, dividing legend, Rev. Quartered coat of arms at centre of ornate Tudor rose, 15.16g/3h. (N. 2003; S. 2529). Extremely Fine, a spectacular example with a superb portrait, devoid of any of the usual weakness. Some light graffito to reverse above shield, visible only on close inspection.
